Who we are
At LadyLoom Gardens, we design and create edible gardens that reflect who you are, how you want to live, and what you want to grow.
Whether you're growing with kids, finding your rhythm outdoors, or starting fresh, we explore all the possibility in your outdoor space.
Whether you’re a homeowner, a parent, an educator, or part of an organization, we meet you where you are. We bring thoughtful co-design; grounded support; and a balance of form, function and beauty to every space. We work together—you, me, and your unique ecosystem—to create something that supports life, invites joy, and grows over time.
Growing food changes how we live.
It changes how we eat. It changes…
How we nourish ourselves and others.
How we gather.
How we engage with our outdoor spaces.
Lesley was here every step of the way. She listened to my goals, spent time understanding my space, and created a garden that I feel like I can actually be successful with. It’s been such a joy to walk the fresh produce from my garden straight into my kitchen. These are the best tomatoes ever! - Julie W.
“I’ve always been intimidated to attempt a full kitchen garden. I was nervous about the learning curve and my lack of time. Lesley created a pretty much “turnkey” garden and helped me build the confidence I needed to take charge! Best of all, we made a schedule together so I don’t get overwhelmed with tending to it.” - Lauren G.
Our Mission
At LadyLoom Gardens, we believe gardens should do more than produce food. They should support your life, inspire curiosity, invite connection, and nourish the world around them.
We help people bring the experience of growing food into everyday life. We strive to make it feel achievable, meaningful, and joyful.
For some, that means fresh produce steps from the kitchen.
For others, it means a place where children learn by digging, tasting, and asking questions.
For schools and communities, it means gardens that become places of learning, exploration, and nourishment.
Our gardens are designed to support life, invite joy, and grow with you over time.
A little bit about me:
I’m Lesley: a garden designer, educator, and endlessly curious human.
LadyLoom grew from the intersection of my professional work and personal life. As a mother of two young boys, I’ve seen how gardens can be places of wonder, where little hands explore soil, flavors surprise, and the outdoor world becomes a classroom.
I love introducing people to new vegetables, new flavors, and new ways of engaging with the outdoors. I’m equally passionate about good design, human‑centered thinking, and creating spaces that feel alive and personal. My work is grounded in systems thinking and co‑design. I bring this to my garden design, ensuring that gardens are truly shaped around the people who use them and the environment they’re in.
I combine:
A design mindset that sees gardens as systems
Practical, lived experience growing food
A belief that everyone can grow well with the right support
With LadyLoom, the goal isn’t perfection. It’s progress, confidence, and connection.
